Plot Summary of Ptolus: City by the Spire
Although Sheva Callister has retired from her previous life of "treasure hunting" and contracting out her sword skills, a powerful noble in the city of Ptolus wants her back in the game. Her mission: to steal a priceless brooch with the help of the spirit of her dead partner, Parnell. But an unexpected and vicious attack during the burglary leaves Sheva pondering if she's been set up... and if something more sinister is going on in the city by the spire.
